We have seen first hand the development of the Gold Coast through the Colonial Pre Independence era from the 1920’s to the declaration of the Independence of Ghana in 1957 as the first independent country of sub Saharan Africa, setting the pace for independent nationhood across Africa. As Ghana anchors its nationhood through the trials and tribulations of its growth maintaining its course to our much credited democratic dispensation from the promulgation of the 1992 Constitution through progressive successful elections to our present government in 2011 now serving its term of office.
